I didn’t jump on the fun. train a few years ago mostly because of my intense loyalty to Nate Ruess’ prior band The Format, whose debut has been in steady iTunes rotation since my high school days. But between a promising, Janelle Monae-assisted lead single, “We Are Young,” and now with “Some Nights,” a foot-stomping pop gem complete with a spoken word interlude - totally cheesy, but it works here - I’m finally ready for some more fun.
